ARTWORK: The Evolution of Zombies

Cladistics show how a family tree of animals evolved and branched off from one another.  The "forks" in the branches coming from a defining characteristic that separates two species.  You can't accurately do this for zombies, since their advancement over the years has hardly been organized, but if one were to assemble all the different types of zombies and try to determine how they might've conceivably evolved, it'd look something like this (click to embiggen):
